"Semiconductor Industry in the Era of Techno-Geopolitics" Course
The course “Semiconductor Industry in the Era of Techno-Geopolitics,” co-offered by the International Master’s Program in Asia-Pacific Studies (IMAS),the International Master’s Program of Applied Economics and Social Development (IMES), and the College of Innovation (ICI), organized an on-site visit to WT Microelectronics, the world’s largest semiconductor distributor, on October 15.
Instructors provided insights into the division of labor in the semiconductor industry and the company’s operational strategies, while students tackled real-world problem-solving exercises. Participants reported valuable learning outcomes. A visit to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) is also planned for December, offering further practical exposure to the industry.
